Toys for Tots Fundraiser
Toys for Tots Fundraiser on Saturday, November 15th starting at 7:00 pm. All money and donations are staying local to help needy children in Detroit and Hamtramck. Dinner includes meatballs, mostaccioli, chicken potatoes, salad and dessert starting at 8. There will also be a DJ and 50/50 raffles. Please bring a toy or a money donation to support this charity that does good work within our community!
Memorial Scheduled for Damon Devitt
A Memorial has been scheduled for Damon Devitt, longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose and past Administrator of the East Detroit Lodge for many years, on Saturday June 14th at 5:00 pm.
The service will be held at the St. Thomas Lutheran Church at 23801 Kelly Rd in Eastpointe, with the Memorial to follow at the East Detroit Moose Lodge.
The Lodge will be dedicating their hall in remembrance to the Damon Devitt Memorial Hall.
Please come and join us to help honor one of the Loyal Order of Moose's greatest family members.

2014 - 2015 Lodge Officers
The following have been elected as the 2014 - 2015 Fraternal Officers for the Lodge and Chapter - Please help support these people in their endeavors in helping to move your Lodge and Chapter forward in the coming years.
No District Breakfast Meeting in July 2014 - District Picnic Scheduled
July is District Picnic month. Due to the picnic, there will be no breakfast meeting in July.
The Picnic will be held on July 26th at the Moose Lake Campground (formerly the Port Huron Campgound) - 134 S Range Rd. St Clair, MI. Click Here for Map. The picnic begins at 12:00 pm and goes to around 6:00 pm or later.
Each Lodge will be supplying a different type of dish, and Hot Dogs and Sloppy Joes will be on the menu. Water and soft drinks will be available, but you must bring your own alcoholic beverages.
This year, District 4 will be combining the picnic with Legion #105. All District 4 Lodge and Chapter members, and Legion #105 members are invited to attend.

Pot Luck Dinner at the Lodge June 19th
Come on down and join your host Kevin for a pot luck dinner on June 19th. The dinner will start at 5:00 pm and continue as long as the food holds out or the Lodge is open.

Beginning May 1st, with the May newsletter, we will no longer be mailing out newsletters. The cost of publishing, printing and mailing has become to great. We are offering several alternatives for you to receive a copy. We will continue to send the newsletter via e-mail to those who have requested this. Requests to be added to the list can be e-mailed to lodge1670@gmail.com. newsletters will also be posted on the calendar page of our website, and a link will be posted on the Logde's facebook page. Newsletters will also be available at the lodge.
